I am getting ready to start a Ron Francis custom McFarlane and wanted your opinions - Should I do him in his Penquins uniform, or his Whalers? I will never do the Toronto, so don't even bring that up .... sore subject here in Carolina.

Thanks for your response

Ooooo...decisions, decisions. And what an arduous decision this is. If I had my druthers, I'd love to see both Whalers AND Pens Ronnies get done as McFarland figures. The Whalers/Canes will (well, SHOULD) always be the team Ron's associated with, and a Whalers figure would be great to make and then package with the Canes figure in a special collector's edition pack. Though, Penguins wouldn't be bad either...but, looking at my 1996 Starting Lineup Pens Ronnie figure standing/skating on my stereo, I say go for making a Whalers figure, and round out the trifecta. ;)

...so I guess I will have to pick up a few more Ronnie figures and do them BOTH!!! I will post the finished figure in the future so you can check it out. I am working on a custom NJ Scott Gomez for someone and it is not turning out too bad ...

Well, most of the penguins fans would give you one answer, Most of the canes fans would give you another. To be honest, the Whalers colors would be much more impressive to me because they just don't play in them colors anymore. I'd put him in his original rookie whale colors, and color the hair brown from his younger days.
