Wow Mikus. You liked Episode 1 better than Episode 2? I thought they were both rubbish :) (I really, REALLY wanted to like them though) And I'm going to have to backup Camille here with saying I liked On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Yeah, George Lazenby is pretty bad but I loved the plot twist.

I'm completely insane with movies and would never be able to name all of my favorites but I love Cinema Paradiso, Life Is Beautiful, American Beauty, Almost Famous, Aliens, the Indiana Jones trilogy, the original Star Wars Trilogy, The Godfather and The Godfather Part 2, The Day The Earth Stood Still, An Affair To Remember, Moulin Rouge, it goes on and on and on and on and on. To be honest, I guess these:

http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=folgersnyourcup

are all my favorite movies since I liked them enough to buy them! :D

I'm completely and totally, utterly and completely, obsessed with movies. Though to be honest I rarely catch any of them at the theatre but just pick them up when they get to DVD.

also, the Star Wars trilogy, Rebel without a Cause, Support Your Local Sheriff, Princess Bride (No more rhymes, now, I mean it!!... Anybody want a peanut?....D'oh!), Monty Python and The Holy Grail, The Hunt for Red October, Pretty in Pink, and Guys and Dolls, just to name a few.

Love me some svelte Marlon Brando! :smoke:

I can never do this - my memory is bad and I just don't see that many movies anymore.

In a total stream of consciousness deal.....

Singin' in the Rain
Shawshank Redemption
The Sixth Sense
Jerry Maguire
China Syndrome
The Sound of Music (first movie I ever saw in the theater)
Bridget Joneses Diary (love me some Colin Firth)
Shakespeare in Love
Pride and Prejudice (BBC production)
The Usual Suspects
Philadelphia

aack - this is pointless, I can't remember anything :)

I like a lot of action movies too, but I don't consider most of them favorites.

China Syndrome

What I saw of that was very good...my eighth grade science class got to watch that when we were talking about different types of energy. Unfortunately, I never saw the ending to that because I was out sick the next day. If The China Syndrome ever comes on a movie channel, I'm definitely going to watch it.

its about a prison where the inmates get a chance to play a soccer game against the guards... GREAT movie... check out all of guy ritchie's movies...and i heard of another one... anyone seen polygram? supposed to be similar to reservoir dogs.

and one more is coming out in 2004... it will be called revolver. cant wait!
