WOO-HOO!!!!!!!
My faith in the NBA is partially restored. I hate the Lakers as much as any team ever...and that includes Duke, the Red Wings, and the Yankees. I don't care if Gary Paton or Karl Malone have never won championships....I can't have any respect for a team that thinks they can buy the championship.
And the team that beat them...how could you get any better? A team of no-named, hard workers, with no ego. Absolutely fantastic...

I'm ashamed to admit that I watched most of the game Tuesday night. Hey, I was packing in my hotel room....what else was there to do!! And I hate the Lakers with nearly the same passion Turby does....only less so because I really don't give a rip about the NBA but I hate powerhouse, high-budget, bought teams in any sport and was very, VERY pleased to see them LOSE. :spin: Plus, Shaq is the total embodiment of everything wrong with the NBA....bigass thug. I shoot better free-throws than he does. (seriously, I think I could beat 3 for 12 or whatever it was)
It was a little annoying to watch that old geezer get two championships in one year, though. :-/

The Pistons traded Corliss Williamson for Derrick Coleman.
The team may be unstoppable in the East.

Yes, he is, but Coleman's 6'10" and 270 lbs., while Williamson is only 6'7" and 245 lbs.
