Here are two books about hockey that I really enjoyed. Thought I'd pass the titles along. Any other suggestions for reading material, hockey related or not?

From Behind the Red Line: An American Hockey Player in Russia
by Tod Hartje

Tropic of Hockey: My Search for the Game in Unlikely Places
by Dave Bidini

Here are a couple more great hockey books...

In the Bin by Lloyd Freeberg (Featuring a story that mentions the Canes' own Randy Ladouceur!)

and

Why Is the Stanley Cup (Still) In Mario Lemieux's Swimming Pool? by Kevin Allen

Both are great and/or funny hockey books to read. As a matter of fact, here's a sampling of what Why Is the Stanley Cup... has to offer:

Ooh all of those selected titles sound delectable...I'll have to make a jaunt to my local library.

You may not be a huge Brett Hull fan but his autobiography is a good read. From fat kid to hall of famer. It was very interesting, even though at times he seemed a little big headed (but it is Brett Hull we are talking about here).
