You know, I honestly don't know how to answer this question for one simple reason:

I just can't imagine being a fan of any other team. Even my liking the Canucks is a mere passing fancy compared to my love of the 'Canes, no matter how much I dig Harry and Langer.

it's hard to be This crazy over any team that isn't close enough to go to games. I could go back to being a hardcore flyers fan... but it wouldn't be the same if I couldn't go to 30+ games a season.

Can't come close to what I feel for the Canes, but surprisingly, I found myself, on Thursday, rooting for the Flyers. I get excited after any goal scored, but for some reason, I was pulling extra hard for the Flyers.

I was a Caps fan before I was a Canes fan so probably the Caps.

Maybe Anahiem. I like that Paul Kariya guy. Anyone who gets under the "Never Wrong" Chelios skin is ok by me.

I hope everybody does not pile on me for this one but I would have to say the New York Rangers. Always been a fan of Mark Messier and Brian Leetch and Mike Richter. Never lived in New York but have always been a Ranger fan for some reason.

We won't pile on ya..that is the beauty of the folks here...you can have an opinion and are not stoned for it...we don't always agree..but the folks here are great!! :D

I'd say either Minnesota, Anaheim, or Tampa Bay.

I say that because they are truely teams....not like the individual players who play together like you'd see on other teams. I think they are alot like this team...no real superstars, yet very good teams. And I have to agree about Paul Karya....he's one of my favorite players that isn't a 'Cane.

But still, nothing can compare to my allegiance to the 'Canes even if I don't get to go to all the games like some of y'all. I can't get enough of anything remotely related to 'Canes hockey.

Well, my doomed Pens, of course. Sigh. When your two teams are 29th and 30th... and neither even gets the 1st draft pick... maybe my personal doom cloud did affect them both. Although, in the past 15 years that I have been a hockey fan, I have seen one of my teams lift 2 Cups, and the other make it to the finals, so I shouldn't complain too loudly. :)

But for this year... I do like Kariya and last night rocked. Ozo isn't my fav, but the Ducks will be happy happy in my book if they take out the Wings (sorry twins). I guess I am mostly rooting *against* teams rather than for them in this year's playoffs! :crazy:

Well, I have to say that the Canes are sort of a seperate entity in my mind from the rest of the league. Dunno why that is. Probably my Agent Orange acting up. ;)

I liek to watch most of the teams for various reasons (I don't like limiting myself to just one thing), but if I had to choose another team, I like the Wings (*ducking flying tomatoes.... and a SHOE!!! Alright, who threw that!?*) and the Bruins. Actually, I like most any team with an interesting goalie. I like watching the Capitals because of Kolzig, the Devils because of Broduer, etc etc.
