Ya'll think we'll win this war or do you think we'll get ambushed at the end and get run out? I'm kinda confused becuase I saw a special on Iraq and it showed they had FOUR different armies...but...where are they??? Are they hiding? Are they gonna surrender? It makes me wonder if they were supportive of Saddam this whole time...or just forced into the Iraqie army. Personally I love watching these Iraqies cheer for us. Puts pride in my heart to be an American! :D But as I asked before...what do you guys think will happen to our troops?

ha ha!! have to agree with that one..
Personally I love watching these Iraqies cheer for us. Puts pride in my heart to be an American!
I love watching it too...not only because it makes me happy and proud of my country, but it also makes me wonder where exactly all the anti-war protesters have mysteriously dissapeared to  ....Sure, we'll win, but just like everyone else is saying, I definatly do not think it's over just yet, there are most likely going to be a lot more ambushes...I mean this could just be the beginning, you never know. As for the armies, I'm not exactly sure...maybe they're hiding, maybe they betrayed saddam, or maybe they're planning an attack (sorry, haven't been watching the news lately  ) In the end we'll win, but you never know how long it'll be...

Saddam Hussein is very foolish...he gave himself and his army way too much credit...the country as everyone knows it ...is over!!
Godspeed to our troops while they finish up business!

There was an article in the Noise and Disturber about how Saddam's subordinates, if they didn't want him to hear the bad news, they simply didn't tell him; he did not know what was really going on; they really believed all of the false facts they were spitting out. It got to the point where he was issuing orders to units that did not exist any more.

Okay -- my 2 cents -- and this comes from my husband, a US Army Reservist:
The Iraqi army is managed quite differently than the US Army. Our Army is run by a network of 1st Sargeants (non-commisioned officers) and Generals (commisioned officers). While technically, the President is called the Commander-in-Chief, the Army's meat and potato operation, on a daily basis, has a very structured system and heirarchy of Sargeants, etc. There is a very regimented chain-of-command.
Sadam calls ALL the shots-- he doesn't have a chain-of-command in place. It's been the US Army's position all along, that if they get to Sadam, then the Army will quickly fold, because they wouldn't know how to keep going without him.
It's my husband belief, and those w/him at Ft. Bragg, that the apparent collapse of the Iraqi army is likely due to the fact that Sadam is not available to run it. This fuels their belief that Sadam is either dead or has found a way to flee his country.
Like I said -- just my 2 cents from my "inside" information. ;)

That is similar to what I heard on the news last night Shawn...everything is disorganized cause the demon is not there to give orders..
I have said this before, but please tell your hubby thanks for all that he and the others do for us!! ;)
