You know, while what he said wasn't politically correct, if you've ever been on a subway in NY, that's exactly what you see.
He was dumb for having said it in the manner he did though.

It may not be abnormal for a normal New Yorker, but as a person in the position that he was he should have kept his comments to himself.
On a different note, they gave me 10 free Mudcats tickets today on my jaunt to Smithfield's BBQ.

Are they wearing signs identifying them these days? I wasn't aware.
I'm just so glad to have this loser in the state. Like we don't have enough racists and homophobes to deal with. Now we get another loud mouth one too.

Well that was just part of it. I did want to clarify that you see these things everywhere, but they are more prevalent in NY just due to the fact of a much higher concentration of people.

dude is a disgrace. period.
sure, it may be obvious to you when you see the 22yr old Asian woman with 6 kids, a hunchback, a lazy eye, and leprosy...
but, you don't call her a dumb stupid chink wh*re, do you? no, you don't.
you know why? because most of us have some sort of common sense in our heads. he has none. he's a disgrace to the game, and a disgrace to the race. I've been hoping for a long time he meets some folks in a dark alley to remind him of that fact.
I guess being shipped off to the minors is a step in the right direction. I wish he wasn't coming HERE tho.

I forgot I wanted to add this too. too funny/stupid not to:
On New York City itself: "The biggest thing I don't like about New York are the foreigners. I'm not a very big fan of foreigners. You can walk an entire block in Times Square and not hear anybody speaking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish people and everything up there. How the hell did they get in this country?"
I guess he's a Native American Indian then, and his entire ancestry is as well? hmm.. interesting.

no, by all means, let us all in on the true nature of your character.
that way we can throw heavy objects at you when we see you in public!
I like the fact of seeing people ostricized because of public 'statements' they make (see: Jimmy the Greek, Marge Shot, John Rocker, Beezer, etc....etc....). Rome has a nice little club list going for these people. I think we should do something "special" for all of them.
Caniac... maybe not pres... just head of a punishment division for ignoramusses. that would be plenty. :smoke:

true dat!!! slightly OT, but related:
I work with a guy who lives in Durham. His church is in Durham. This weekend he pulled Guard Duty for his Church. Yes, they have to post Guards at their church, for the entire day. Not only do they have people messing with cars in the church parking lot... but people will actually go Into the church, and rob people!!! Durham is getting rather insane.
have fun johnny-boy.
hope you meet a few of those unsavory characters.

Just for the record, since I started the Durham bashing.. there are plenty of places in Durham that are very nice and very safe.. just plenty of unsavory places as well. Didn't mean to disrespect any Durhamites!
(How's the house going Carol, did they take the bid?)

True. I live in a nice part of Durham but I also know that if you travel about 6 blocks away it's very scary.
(The house came through btw, thanks for asking. I will be a proud homeowner in Raleigh very soon. :D )
