My Dad was telling me he signed up to be on a list of unlisted cellular numbers. He received a link and it said Sprint, AT&T Wireless, etc were going to publish cell numbers for directories. The link allowed him to enter his nmumber to not be placed on the list. Anyone hear of this? My scam radar is going ballistic, it seems sketchy to me. I didn't think they could do that, since incoming calls cost money/minutes of cell phones.

I hadn't heard about that...
although I get an unusual amount of wrong numbers... probably 2 or 3 a week, which is bizarre if you ask me.

On your cell? I was getting them too--an 800 number asking for Carlos. I finally talked to them and said there was no Carlos, and it was a cell number, then they stopped.

I put my cell phone number on the no call list when I put my home number on there. So far, so good.
