Speaking of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, what did everyone here think of that film? I'm one of the few who has yet to see it...

I was dragged kicking and screaming by my girlfriend to see that movie. But I did end up enjoying it. I laughed as much as she did. Mainly because I can see myself in the dude's position and have been in similar situations before.

My rating: 1.5 thumbs up.

I love a bargain!! :D

I frequent http://www.techbargains.com and http://www.fatwallet.com

The forums is where you find the best bargains. Some people put eals together where you get things free or actually make money after rebates.

Tomorrow I am getting an Olympus C-4000 Digital Camera listed between $469.00 and $500.00 for about $320.00 tomorrow.

BTW, My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a Big Fat Wate of my time. I laughed 3 times. I am glad they give you 30 days to return the movie if you don't like it!

Also my favorite store is Big Lots which finally opened in Cary, even though Cary would not let them have their trademark orange sign.

BTW, My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a Big Fat Waste of my time. I laughed 3 times. I am glad they give you 30 days to return the movie if you don't like it!

My folks saw this movie a month or two ago, and said very much what you said, MeanGene. The only parts they found amusing (Obvious and slight spoilers here.) were the ones involving one of the characters' obsession with Windex curing everything (As I said before, I've yet to see the movie...but my folks obviously spoiled me a tiny bit.). I still might see My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but am a bit wary due to the mixed reviews I've heard and read.

BTW, thanks for your opinions Caniac and MeanGene. :)

Fantasticane---"Greek Wedding" is one of those movies that is funny if you have had experience with various ethnic backgrounds. I come from a large Puerto Rican family, my husband comes from a large Italian family. Unfortunately we have lived through scenes similar to those in the movie. Also if someone has already told you the funny scenes, well, they just aren't going to be as funny. I say you watch it, but lower your expectations.
