I know how most of us feel about ESPN, but for those of you who may have missed it, we got a little more airtime than our usual 5 seconds of highlights on Sportscenter tonight. They mentioned Surma scoring his 1st goal in his first game, and then preceeded to name the other 3 baby canes who had already done that this season. Just letting you know :D

Cool...nice to know that ESPN is acknowledging the Canes in a way that's not putting them down for once.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Ah well.

Just imagine if Bayda & Heerema (or whatever rookies make the cut) end up being the next Heatley/Kovalchuk. It can happen. Give the Canes a good draft pick this year, and the future looks incredible.

Well maybe he did - they say he may have broken his clavicle - although my hubby reminded me that he did kinda dive and crash into the boards following the goal.
