I put a link up at the top of the page to make donations to the Red Cross.
Everyone donate! Even if it's just a dollar. If you had planned on helping out LGC financially at all, donate it to them instead.
Thank you!

I am thrilled with the donation link, but one small request.. any way to put it on top of or below the main banner? with it next to the banner it makes the page so wide that I have to scroll left and right every single line when I am on my laptop. Thanks!!!

For me, the donation link is to the right of the banner on IE, and below the banner on Firefox.
Size of the window doesn't seem to make a difference in this for me, just which browser. I run at 1600x1200 on most screens, though currently 1024x768 on one of them.

Ehhh... I tried that and it made the top really really tall, and looked way out of wack.
What resolution are you running? It looks right in IE at 1024x768...
Tonight when I get home I'll try to make a smaller donation link that can go underneath and not screw up the top.

I'm having the same problem on a desktop. With 1024 X 768 res I would go blind!

Dear lord, you must already be blind! ;)
The resultion I run at work is 1600 x 1024 (it's a widescreen) and at home the smallest I ever run is 1200 x 1024. Anything smaller than those and everything looks gargantuan.
Sometimes I forget that not everyone runs that high a resolution. :)

work laptop I only run 1024 X 768 because my monitor is so small (21 inch POS flat panel). It's just barely enough when run full screen on my projectors at home (which are 1280 X 720P DLP machines). It is a problem for my 61 inch DILA rear projection in the bedroom because of the god awful overscan of that set... so I am usually not running full screen windows on that desktop and have to scroll... it's rather annoying at times... I hate IE, but because work requires it, I've kept the same thing at home....
anything you can do to drop the size of the donate link (or the LGC banners and the donate link) to make scrolling less of a problem would be greatly appreciated.... You've gotta get it down a couple hundred pixels based on the various resolutions I've tried

Okay, I put the link underneath. It still makes the top a little tall, but it's ok. :)
