Traditional decent draw on a night with not much else going on, plus the publicity from the big win on Monday...

10597 - Just to give the wirter's something to complain about - we'll rebound Friday with 15K - but I'll go with a midweek lull. I won't be there, but my parents will be using my tickets.

With the World Series on TV and White Sox on the cusp of a their first title since 1917, the fact that this is a mid-week game, and the 2nd of three games this week-- 11,700

Is that alright attendance? I guess the RBC can hold about 18,000 so thats 5 short of packed but I mean I know there's been some stupid buzz about relocation and crap, just concerned I guess.

Sure, for a mid-week game early in the season.

The key is that attendance has gone up every game (minus the opener to Game 2) and should easily continue on Friday.
Though, that won't stop the relocation talk. Nothing will until they average 15k+

So I mean if we can just get 2 thousand more in there then we're set. Man it doesn't seem like all that many, I guess with our recent success maybe we'll be getting better media attention and the bandwagoners will return. (I hope) I bet if this team gets into the playoffs you'll see the RBC packed.

No doubt about that. People around here take their playoffs seriously. We're not the loudest house in the NHL for nuttin!

I hope we don't have to wait that long. If the Canes keep this up, watch for more fans willing to put out some money to come see them.

No, it actually passed about a month ago. A democratic senator went back on his promise to a republican senator to "not vote" since the republican dude was in the hospital.

Ummm...you must have forgotten about the multiple empty aisles in the lower bowl during the first and second rounds in 02. The Canes GAVE my company over 50 seats for each game in the first two rounds. They called them "bonus tickets", but in reality, they were terrified of what it would look like on national TV with empty seats in the lower bowl.

Well those 50 tickets must all have been used because there weren't many empty trolls... I mean, seats...
P.S. Mark Messier is old, and Johan Hedberg sucks, so get a new signin name...
