LGC.com Charity Drive!

Everyone, after recieving a few suggestions for charities, I have decided to start a fund to be donated to Child's Play.

I have put a link on the front page to make a donation to go towards this charity.

To get information about Child's Play, visit http://www.penny-arcade.com/childsplaycharity/index.php.

We will be collecting up through Christmas, but I will make the initial donation to Child's Play on Dec. 20th.

It really is a great cause, and please donate what you can. I know everyone has tons of charities to give to, so even if it's only a couple of bucks, it will do a great deal to help bring joy to a child's life that doesn't get enough.

Also, I will post a screen cap of each donation amount, and keep a running total. I'll post a screen cap of the total amount and the transfer to Child's Play as well.

Okay, so I'm a real dork.

I clicked the link for the charity in this thread and then made my donation from there. THEN I got the whole picture that I was supposed to click the link on the main lgc page so Caniac would get the amount. :beatup:

So I donated a little via that link too, but I'd donated more directly. Ooops. Child Play benefits, so it's all good. :)

I've been donating to that charity since it's inception. It is the only one that I feel confident the proceeds will get to who needs it most.

Plus I'm a Geek so it fits perfectly.
