I was looking at Plasma and LCD Tv's. I decided that the only thing I could really afford would be a 32 Inch LCD. I was about to buy it, but then I saw some DLP High-Definition projectors that came with a 100 inch screen. That is what I got. I managed to get it set up and hooked the X-Box 360 and the TIVO up to it. I ended up not using the screen and I just have it on the wall. The screen made a little difference, but not enough to warrant installing it here at my apartment which I am leaving in March anyway.

I tried to hook the 360 up with the HD cables, but I discovered I need anoother cable to hook from the receiver/DVD into the projector itself. The only thing open on Christmas is Walgreen's, so I guess I will have to wait until Monday. The picture is already great, so I am looking foward to playing High Def games on it. Especially NHL 2K6!

I also plan to use it for showing proofs to clients as soon as I get a laptop. I will be able to make a slideshow with music from their photo session and it should look pretty good.

Merry Christmas!!

Bought myself one too!

2003-4 Jesse Boulerice Game worn jersey away white (sold at kids and community auction the last game against Florida). This is the most unique canes jersey I own. If the NHL continues in its current path, this may be one of the last canes jerseys to show "heavy fight wear". Neck pulls and tears, back fight strap is torn, lots of arm wear (can't say any of Jesse's jerseys will have this much wear in the future). And here's the kicker: custom attached fight strap on the FRONT of the jersey! Wally did some modifications so it fit Jesse's fighting style and also protected him from it.

The front fight strap consists of heavy sewing just underneath the jersey crest, and it is heavily stitched to a bauer helmet strap just long enough to buckle to the front of his pants.

If you know jesse's fighting style, he uses his "non punching" hand as a decoy to grab a fistful of jersey to either hold it up to the other fighter's face and block his view, or uses the same hand to jab the chin while still holding on to jersey. This front fight strap prevents opponents from using the same technique. I love this jersey, and am watching fight tapes of him wearing the jersey. Bring back that part of the old NHL please.

That is sweet! I am about to throw in the raising Canes DVD, to see what it looks like.

I agree, bring back that part of the NHL!
