The dozen national Olympic committees have made their lists, checked them twice and named their representatives to the 2006 Winter Olympic hockey games in Turin, Italy, from Feb. 15-26.
The twelve teams have been divided into two groups. Each team plays its five group rivals in the preliminary round. The top four teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals, where teams cross over to play against the other division. The quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinal round that will determine the teams for the gold-medal and bronze-medal games on Feb. 26.
