Tonight was the book signing for Striking Silver: The Untold Story of America's Forgotten Hockey Team (1972). I have my copy and can't wait to read it. I wasn't even going to open the book until tomorrow, but I just couldn't wait.
After reading the dedication, foreward by Mark Howe, and Authors' Note, I wanted to jump right in. The only thing stopping me is the knowledge that I woudn't get much out of it until I could concentrate better than I can right now. The book seems like a great length for weekend reading.
If you're trying to locate the book the ISBN is 1 59670 078 5 . The authors are Tom and Jerry Caraccioli. (How'd they ever fit that name on the library card when they were kids?)
