Flyers center Keith Primeau on Monday updated his status as he continues to recover from a concussion suffered on October 25 in Montreal. Primeau is in Toronto visiting with another doctor as he continues his rehab from the injury. Below is a conversation in which Primeau addressed certain topics and rumors regarding his health and if he plans on making any announcements in the near future, as well as a statement from Flyers General Manager Bob Clarke.
How difficult is this decision for you?
“It’s sad, because all I want to do is play. Unfortunately at this time, my head will just not allow me to play. Obviously, I am running the emotional gamut from sadness to disappointment to frustration to anxiety. But, I also know that my health is of the utmost importance.

I know he is a turd, but a very sad way to see a career end. Hope there is no long-term damage to his everyday life.
