TC- you're dead on and that is what I've been tryng to put my finger on- they all had to travel over, all had to play games in the NHL, blah, blah- and our guys look so much worse for wear.

I'm looking at Jagr right now with his gashed eye he's taken another hard hit to the head- back on the I don't want them hurt front, this just all makes me more nervous than any other Olympics. They all seem to just be playing like hitting machines out there and it's been crazy.

Had to chuckle when JD and Doc Emerick were marveling about EC and the hit he took and how they worked on his shoulder and 'was right back out there landing a hard hit with the other shoulder' Hub and I turned to each other and said in unison, "they don't see Cole too much, that's his game".... lol. He was the best player out there today.

I have enjoyed the games so far, especially the passion of the various teams fans and the whole dynamic of the Olympic 'spirit'- but I'm like TC, I'll take the NHL all day everyday too. ;)

TC- you're dead on and that is what I've been tryng to put my finger on- they all had to travel over, all had to play games in the NHL, blah, blah- and our guys look so much worse for wear.

I'm looking at Jagr right now with his gashed eye he's taken another hard hit to the head- back on the I don't want them hurt front, this just all makes me more nervous than any other Olympics. They all seem to just be playing like hitting machines out there and it's been crazy.

Had to chuckle when JD and Doc Emerick were marveling about EC and the hit he took and how they worked on his shoulder and 'was right back out there landing a hard hit with the other shoulder' Hub and I turned to each other and said in unison, "they don't see Cole too much, that's his game".... lol. He was the best player out there today.

I have enjoyed the games so far, especially the passion of the various teams fans and the whole dynamic of the Olympic 'spirit'- but I'm like TC, I'll take the NHL all day everyday too. ;)
