Everwars. very simple, and other than the few minutes it takes to signup and creat a character... it's a good thing to just open once in awhile and attack a few players. hehe. generic races/classes, the usual stuff. every half hour you get a 'battle credit', which you use to challange another player. and people challenge you too, even if you don't have credits, so you're almost always getting xp. interesting idea.

If you like RPG's and have a PS2 I've got to recommend Dark Cloud 2. If you love to deal with every little aspect of things it's one you should definitely check out. Micro-management at it's best. You build up your weaons from scratch and can invent things by taking pictures of objects with your camera and coming up with ideas from them. All that and it's got a sort of Sim City type aspect to it that you are forced to do that is really quite fun. You have to place houses, move people in that you pick up on your quest, place trees, waterways, etc. and all that changes things in the future. Only potential downside is that all the dungeons are randomly generated but on the plus side it makes for more fun leveling up your characteres because the path is different every time.

And there's a pretty good storyline too. I'm 35 hours into it and am nowhere near the end.

Xenosaga's a damn good RPG but I only played that for a couple hours before realizing I had Dark Cloud 2 to get back to.

I'll check out this text-based RPG now.

I'm now lvl 2, at 37-7. :D

I'd like to thank those of you that joined under my link, as my "squires". it gave me a nice little boost of gold, which allowed me to arm myself. lol.


as for Dark Cloud 2, I saw a nice preview of it, and it does look pretty good. though I don't see dropping EQOA anytime soon, considering the 1st expansion will be out in a few months. hehe

I am like 150-130... level 7... but i havent played in the past two or three days... i think i'll just wait til later... they do it every month... and I am in town for precisely three days in June... so I'll wait.. but its a cool game.

cool. I shall treat you with no less respect than the other servants I have following me around begging to serve me. ;)

Rio- as a hint- don't waste money on armor. buy weapons- as good as you can afford, constantly upgrading.. equipping both primary and secondary slots. I wouldn't even worry about "skills" until like lvl 5+.
