Do any of you guys, or maybe anyone you know have a Hurricane tattoo?

I am pretty positive I'm gonna get myself one this summer, my FIRST. I was thinking about a little Canes symbol on my right ankle, with "2002" MAYBE above it, symbolizing when I first started lovin' them....but I'm more partial to JUST the plain symbol. I'm REALLY really excited but also looking for input.

If you guys have any pics or ideas, or I dunno, anything :laugh: Just drop a line in here, my Gramma thinks it's totally improper, but my Mom thinks it's cool and shows my "team dedication", maybe that's cuz she wants a tat of her own. LOL. :beatup: It sounded kinda cute to me, but if I can just get the symbol. that would be JUST nice, with some nice shading. Yeah, I have like 3 other people using me for a guinea pig. Like "Let me know how it goes, then maybe I'll get one". So I say "you losers are coming with me then so i can break your hands! HAHA. :beatup: I cannot wait though, i love hearing everyone's input on this stuff. :cool:

I'm thinking summer....but there's a pretty good chance I might be coming down to Raleigh either this fall or next summer, actually I WILL be. LOL...So do I want to wait for 5 years being a Canes fan next June, and do it when I take a trip down there to see ya'll :D ...or do it this summer and be spu-of-the-moment? I was thinking about getting one 2 years ago, but after the lockout I realized the Hurricanes logo is as much a corporate logo as it is a team logo. Then I thought about it more. I'd never put IBM on my arm or Levi's on my butt or McDonald's on my belly. Then you look on ebay and see pregnant women putting "goldenpalacecasino.com" on their belly's for a grand. I didn't wanna be part of that crowd. So although my team loyalty almost ran deep enough to get the tat, I personally don't want to be an advertising billboard through my skin.

But see, that's only me, and I'm NOT saying that anyone who gets the tattoo is a walking billboard. I'm just saying that's how I now feel if it were me and would never put a sports team logo on my skin with few exceptions because they are just as much corporate logos as they are team symbols..

I personally would be angry with a Hartford Whalers, Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota North Stars, Quebec Nordiques, California Golden Seals,colorado Rockies, or any other defunct team's tattoo right now. School logos aren't corporate and those mascots are pretty solid, but I'm not at Tulane anymore.

If anyone got one, where did you get it done and does it look EXACTLY like a canes logo?
