To my knowledge they don't have morning skates on early game days. I know our Sunday games with a 3:00 start never had pre-game.

The Canes need to stop the streak and game 1 is the perfect scenario. The Devils rep is making them a favorite everywhere...This is an amazing Devils team, but this isn`t your father`s NJ Devils. They have shown a bizarre combination of heart and shakiness...Devils teams were always consistent..This is a streaky Devils team....people forget that besides the current 15 games in a row, they won 9 games in a row in January. If you are one of those people who used the Red Wings Divison against them then you should look at NJ in the Atlantic as well..They are very good against their division foes. During the end of year streak they dominated their divisional games and did beat Buffalo, Carolina and Ottawa in one goal games....Look at the final game of the season for some guidance. The Habs had the Devils 3-0 and then stopped playing. The Devils have the best coaching and as much heart as any one...Brodeur has been outstanding but he does depend more on his D to clear rebounds then he ever has in the past. Some juicy rebounds in the Rangers series. The Canes are quicker and will be there for those second chances. The Canes shook the cobwebs off and learned that they needed to play aggressively to win. The Habs play a similar game to the Devils and that will help the Canes. This is the same kind of series. I do think they should ride the hot goalie, but I also think the Gerber will be in there when the Canes win the series in 6.
