The vanishing posts problem should be pretty much over by now. We are going through a DNS migration, which means the site has moved to a temporary server so that we wouldn't experience any downtime.
During the move the DNS servers update to new IP addresses. Some of your ISP's do this faster than others, and often times they randomly switch back and forth from the old to the new several times for some reason.
This is why you've seen some posts disappear and then reappear and then disappear again.
The message board was eating up a whole lot of system resources and the server we were on couldn't handle it anymore, so the site got moved to a temporary server on which I am going to be testing different ways to lower the resource usage.
One way was to get rid of the extra scripts that ran on each MB page, ie the schedule and standings.
If none of this works, we may move to another message board program. It won't be a step down if we do, most like we'll move up to vBulletin, but we'll see how it goes.
Just keeping everyone informed about what's going on...
