Posted Sept 19th, 2005 about this upcoming season....

Just a few off-the-wall, up-for-debate thoughts from this way-to-early-to-be-taken-too-seriously post.

#1 - Ziggy will make this team, Brendl will not. (And that from me - the last remaining Brendl supporter who has just jumped ship...)

#2 - Hutchinson will make this team, Commodore will not.

#3 - Nordgren will make this team, at the expense of St. Jaques

#4 - Cam Ward will be our #1 goalie before Christmas.

#5 - As good as Staal is going to be, Nic Wallin will be an All-Star first...

#6 - The best race this season will be the player's ability to adapt to the new obstruction rules vs. the fan's ability to tolerate all the penalties. There needs to be a happy medium, I like the new wide-open style, but not at the expense of players being afraid to hit someone.

I would advise against a career in fortune telling.

 This is why I don't do predictions, except for my ones in the pool  I would do VERY badly, worst out of anyone here maybe. Fun to look back on though

The only real predictions I made were Conference winners, and it's in another thread, but I picked Buffalo and Nashville before the season started. Definitely could have done worse.
