Thank you Canes - From 3 hours South...

As I went through the pain of 2004 and losing in game 7 in the finals, nothing would have hurt me more last night than to see an Edmonton victory and the taunts of "you guys couldn't get it done, and we did" and "6-1, like that score?".

So I just wanted to say to all the Canes fans who helped will their team to the cup, THANK YOU (and you're welcome for Commodore). The sun truely is shining and it is a great day, this is the happiest I have been since the Flames actually won the cup in 1989 with regards to hockey and I think most Flame fans are in the same boat as me.

I saw a sign when I was heading downstairs last night that read "Hurricanes Blow Just Like Calgary"... I thought about saying something but I just smiled and thought about what I had just witnessed on the ice... **clears confetti out of hair** :laugh: thought you might enjoy that just a little more today. :D
