Oh snap!
My friend has an unused puck from each game, I wonder what the set would go for (not that she'd ever sell).
I have my tickets from all the games framed and they ain't going anywhere.

Oh and who wants to bet that these Newspaper PDFs (http://cgi.ebay.com/8-Carolina-Hurricanes-Stanley-Cup-Newspaper-Covers-PDFs_W0QQitemZ270002037322QQihZ017QQcategoryZ14433 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) are the same ones posted on the web.

So did the game pucks really have that graphic on it?
I have an semi-related question. I'll preface it to say that I'm not going to sell this item, just curious from those that dabble in this stuff.
I have a bottle of wine that was bottled/labeled (not sure the right term) after the 02 season. It's a bottle of red wine, it's got a really neat etched (and then painted) Hurricanes logo and writing. It's marked as 95/100. The kicker is, I got it at the 04 draft and it is signed by the Canes last 3 first round picks. Ladd, Staal, and CWard. It's kind of cool, because it was after Eric's rookie season and thus his signature as the #12 next to it, but Ladd and Ward's don't, having not played as a Hurricane yet.
I always joked I'd open it if we ever won the Cup. And then totally forgot about it until recently. Then when I realized all 3 players were playing, well - it's kinda cool. I also decided not to open the bottle anyway.
I don't have any cert of authenticity, and it doesn't really matter to me. Just curious if that would be an item you 'collectors' would care about.

I know you can buy the prints from the N and O. There are 3 of them I think. The cup photo montage (someone posted that in a regular thread), and then the front page of the N/O and the front of the Sports. I think I may order one of those (from the N/O).

Yea I saw those. I thought about getting those but i've run up such a big bill at the eye I think I'll just stick to the $0.50 versions.

I bought a Draft t-shirt at the '04 Draft. I caught Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby, and had them sign it. I've never worn it. I wonder if that's worth anything?

Here is an unused mint condition ticket sheet: http://cgi.ebay.com/2006-Stanley-Cup-Champions-Carolina-Hurricanes-Tickets_W0QQitemZ230004433813QQihZ013QQcategoryZ25 224QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

If you do sell your sheet, make sure you highlight that game 7 is included. Funny how the whole sheet is selling for less than a singular game 7 ticket. it's all in the description.

Yea that is crazy. A beat up Game 7 ticket went for $54 where as a 4 game strip in mint condition is going for only $56.

I'm way too sentimental, I want to sell them all and make some cash to pay for them, but no way I can part with them!

Wow. Although I'm not going to be selling my stubs, mine are in *much* better condition (near mint, I'd say). It's good to know that if I need a bit of extra cash in the near future, I know what to do.

I'm late to this party, but I'll chime in-lol
CL- you'd probably fetch some $$$ on that thing- Mr. Socal and I were at the Draft Party thing at the DBAP with Ovechkin, Malkin, Ladd & the other Top Propects, and they had this introduction thing at the little street fair they had, and after it was done the prospects threw out a bunch of those draft tees, and then started to mingle with the audience before heading into the DBAP- anyway, Mr. Socal caught one of the tees throw out (by Ovechkin) and got lucky enough to have him sign it, just as he was coming off the stage- there was a guy there in a Caps hat & tee shirt who offered him $100 "cash right now" if he'd sell him the shirt. He then explained he was a collector and he knew Ovechkin would be a star in the future- so $100 bucks was 'much' to him. Mr.Socal dabbles in high end hockey cards (Upper Deck Premiere, etc) where the premium type Cards, Staal/Gretzky type cards, go for a few hundred dollars, reads Hockey Beckett religiously and has this whole side business with these cards going that he paid all our playoff strips with money from the cards instead of charging to our credit card-- I know insane-- so he's not a memorabilia type collector but was shocked when that dude offered him that kind of money for a tee shirt. LOL. It is really shocking what people will pay for certain things, but then sometimes it really isn't.
E- I saw your post about the wine bottle- since it's a 'numbered' collectible, you could probably fetch a good amount for that bottle- ($200 or more) and for those die hard collector types who 'know' Staal's signature/auto, they'll pay more, based on the time of the signature, and the fact that Cam and Ladd are on it and they're now Cup winners- adds a little more value to it. Next time we get together, remind me to let you chat up Mr. Socal about it- he's always going to these sports collectible shows and meets/knows alot of those type 'experts'. I'm sure you'll probably want to keep something like that now more than ever, but it's fun to find out stuff like that!
And wow- that original ticket? It was wrinkled and it sold for money??? wow. talk about striking while hot.......

Yeah... I'm constantly amazed what people will pay for a signature on any old piece of crap, that's just gonna collect dust.
You know, I'm just not much of a collector. And the older I get, the fewer possessions I want. I just think, I don't want a lot of crap that somebody's going to have to figure out what to do with after I'm dead.
I'd like to have a more Japanese life-style with very few possessions, and then when I die, it'll all fit in the trunk of somebody's car.

I went and looked at my draft tickets from '04, and I'm pretty sure I have one with Ladd's autograph on it. Wonder what that would fetch, but like many of us I'm hanging onto that thing.
But I'm having a brain fart- who were the other 2 guys sitting at the table signing with him that afternoon? I can't make out the signatures.

I got my draft ticket signed by Staal. Staal was in the middle of the deck back to back with Cole signing tickets. People entered from each side to get their autographs. Those were the only other players I saw.
