My friend referred me to http://www.tylermartin.com He got some ink for his Epson pretty cheap, and I could not tell the difference on the photos from the ones that were printed with the Epson ink.
I have a Canon i470D and it uses BCI-24 ink. The color costs about $18.00 retail, and the Black about $6.00 retail.
I ordered 5 of each and it cost $26.00 including shipping for all 10.
I printed out some pictures the other day, and they were a little washed out. They were not as bright or as sharp as the ones I printed using original Canon ink. They look fine if I run them through twice, but that is a hassle, and I have to make sure not to move the paper holder, or my picture wil lbe ruined.
I sent an e-mail to them and they said that they would send me a refund, if I sent the ink back.
The pictures would look fine, if I were not selling some of them, but I can not sell them looking like that.
Anyway, does anyone buy compatible ink, that works like the original ink? If so, who do you buy it from. The lady at Tyler Martin told me that she was very suprised, and that there are only 3 inkjet ink factories in the world, and all ink comes from those.
Edited for all of the spelling errors. :)
