Any Canes stuff on your fridge?

I noticed that I have still have not taken down a Hedican game day card from the fridge. I wondered what else (tickets, photos, etc.) that people might have on their fridge at this moment. So do you have any Canes stuff on your fridge right now? (Doesn't count if you did but took it down. ;))

I have that magnet on there with all the games we went to circled on it, a couple schedules are magnetted to it in various places and one of those little Eastern Conference Champions banners is hanging from a bulletin board that's on the fridge. I think that's it....too lazy to go check and be sure. :D

We have the schedule magnet with Ronald on it and as I mentioned before, our Stanley Cup Finals glasses from Game 4 are on top!!

...now my closet looks like a "Mini Eye"!! ;)

I have a big "eye" magnet, the Eastern Conference Champion banners, and the schedule magnet. Of course, my refrigerator is the place magnets go to die so the Canes stuff has lots of company!

We have a calendar up on the fridge listing the games for January :O ( I suppose I should take it down now... ) It all compliments my Elvis 68 Comeback magnet. ;)

There's a game schedule with Arch on the front, still floating around the kitchen too. ( crazy floating Archs :p )

Before I took it all down I am embarassed to say that I literally had ALL the following on my fridge...ok...here goes...

team poster from 2002-2003, TWO Canes schedule magnets with Archie on them, Canes schedule magnet with Francis on it, card with Stormy on the front (I swear that one was for my little girl :roll: ), flyer from the Caniac carnival, a business card from my Canes' rep, AND a brochure of the ticket prices from the 2002-2003 season. WHEW! Yes, I am an obsessed and possibly overboard Caniac... :D

My aunt has some magnetic paint in her basement...so she can put magnets directly on the wall. Neat stuff...

I don't think I have ever heard of that kind of stuff? :eek: Magnetic paint? Wow. That really is interesting. Does she do some sort of project with that stuff or is it just for fun?

Just for fun...they have pictures, etc. hanging from their wall, so there isn't anything really special on it.

It might be some sort of magnetic coat over the paint or some kind of primer under it that's magnetic, or it may be the paint itself...I can't quite recall. Still pretty neat, though.

I believe it's the paint itself. They also have chalkboard paint...to make your wall like a chalkboard. It's pretty cool too. (I worked at Lowes Hardware for awhile my first time in college and I remember seeing the stuff then)

I have an Olympia Ice resurfacing machine on my frig. For parties and such. I also have the canes schedule magnet and can’t wait to replace with a 2003-2004 magnet. But you should see my cubicle at work. I buy those $1 roster dealios they sell before games. You know the ones with players on the front. Not hardly a day goes by when someone doesn’t ask me if I like hockey. I've only got seven, but this year I have tickets to all the games. Woo Hoo, Mmmmmmmmm Hoc-Key

Hehe, I have a bunch of those dollar sheets with the players on the front as well, they are all from the cup run though and I made a collage in my dorm with them on each side of a signed by the majority of the team at the airport 2001-2002 Eastern Conference Champions banner. LOL, I actually put some thought into where I was putting the pictures and tried to have them organized by lines and such on opposite sides of the banner (Weeks across from Irbe) but I ended up having an uneven number so I put one of the cards with highlights from the first round above the banner. As for the refrigerator I have the last two year's magnet schedules and plan to add this years' when it is released as well.

Hockeypat had a pretty amazing set-up during the cup run. He had what looked to be every newspaper clipping from it all taped up around his desk and on the walls. Great stuff.

I've got a couple magnet schedules, and I still have the 02-03 schedule taped up on the fridge where I would write in the score of each game on the schedule that night. Lots of L's obviously, but it's fun to look back at different games and see how much of them I can remember.

I've got every magnet schedule they've ever made on my fridge (unless they made one I never saw).

98-99 (black verticle style sponsored by Sprint); 99-00 Francis (horizontal style with first month missing - not given out until Novemeber); 00-01 with Francis, O'Neill, Brindy and Kapanen; 01-02 schedule given at Hurricanes night promotion at Durham Bulls game (O'Neill) and of course the Francis one from last season.

I've also got Generals, Prowlers, Bats and Orioles schedules on there, too. It's getting pretty tough to find places for new ones every year.

I have a Canes wall in my basement. Several autograph pictures, a miniature stanley cup w/ Canes Logo, Eastern Champ Banner, and Ron Francis, Ray Sheppard, and Arturs Irbe signed sticks. I also have a sign from the Greensboro Coliseum. GO CANES on one side, STOP WHILE THE PUCK IS IN PLAY! on the other. I'm looking for a stand right now where I can use the sign when I'm watching the boyz on TV
