I agree with SHC and Aaryn...unless something drastic happens....heaven forbid.....I think we are good to go in the goalie category!!

I'm not saying I don't think we need another goalie....I actually think we might (just not ideally an 18 year old one). BUT, if we get Fleury a lot of people will flip out about it and I don't really even want to hear it.

I've talked myself into being happy with Staal and I'd be just fine with a few others as well. I don't really think our pick is gonna amount to much help for next year anyway so I'm feeling pretty non-chalant about the whole thing. I'll just be glad to see what they do and get SOME idea of what direction we are heading here.

I have heard really good things about Staal......I know we won't have instant help, but he sounds like he might be able to make a difference fairly quickly...

and it is ok to be grumpy, it is Friday and has been a long tiring week! ;)

if we didn't have such a drastic scoring problem, I'd say hope Florida trades, the other team gets Staal, and we get Fleury, but I want us to get Staal because we need some good players like him in our system.

I think Florida will trade the pick to Pittsburgh and get the third pick in the draft. A player will be included in the deal.
