Guys and Gals

Some have noticed in the past from my posts that i do a lot of charity bike rides around the country. Last year I did the Lance Armstrong Foundation's Ride for the Roses in Austin Texas and will be doing so again this October. I also did the 24 Hours of Booty fundraising event for the LAF and Brain Tumor Fund of the Carolinas this past July.

Today I signed up to do the MS 150 ride in New Bern NC on September 9th and 10th. This ride raises funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and local services to those diagnosed with MS. MS is a disease that like cancer can affect anyone at any time. MS affects the Central Nervous System and the exact cause is still unknown. Every week about 200 people are diagnosed with MS.

I will be riding 150 miles in two days and am hoping to raise $200 in support of my ride. If only 20 people were able to donate $10, that will allow me to reach this goal at only $1.33 per mile for those that are able to donate.

I appreciate everyone taking the time to read this as well as those that are able to help me achieve my fundraising goals for this event.

Donations are made through the Sponsor Me icon on the top right of the page under the MS Bike Tour information box.

Thanks again!
