He may have told the Toronto Papers that, but they must not have seen fit to print it because I read both the Toronto Sun and the Toronto Star's sports section every day and haven't seen a word about it.. have any links?

Sure is nice to have you here, jealous much?

DO YOU EVEN HAVE 50,000 BRAIN CELLS? (just to let you know, that's not many... cells are pretty tiny things. Just FYI.)

Hey Staaler, whats your point? We drafted a canadian, he grew up in the Toronto area. He liked the Leafs. Wow.

if you would like to talk hockey, you are more than welcome here. If you want to spew insults or inaneness, please keep on moving. , it won't be tolerated here.

That being said, you can insult us for being "new", but boy, we already made it to the finals.. 1967 was soooo long ago!

YOU GUYS SHOULD OF TAKEN DUSTIN BROWN, HE'S ANOTHER AMERIKAND THAT PLAYED IN TORONTO.

HE'S QUITE GOOD ACTUALLY. PLAYS LIKE GUERIN.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS GOT STAAL, BUT THAT IS YOUR REWARD FOR FINISHING IN THE BASEMENT.

STAAL IS A GREAT PLAYER AND SHOULD LEAD YOUR TEAM TO MAYBE 3 SPOTS HIGHER THAN YOU DID LAST YEAR.

Which should land us nicely above your Leafs....since all their players appear to be, rightly, jumping ship this off-season.

we did great in getting Staal, and I am thrilled. We'll end up more than 3 higher than this last season without a problem, haven't you heard it was a fluke? ;)

Please turn off your caps locks.

I would of taken fluery first since he's the next ROY in the making.

Staal is the best the canes can do. NO higher than 3 places above. You will miss the playoffs AGAIN.

And you, if you make the playoffs, will go out in the first round AGAIN. Remember...we've played for the Cup more recently than you have.

I like you already staaller. I haven't had the chance to moderate much lately. This should be fun.

Anything you want to say about Eric Staal can be said here (http://www.letsgocanes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=748). Any Canes bashing can be left at the door.
