Tar Heels fans, identify yourselves. How do you think the 2006 Heels look after the Clemson game. Seeing that the State folks are well represented on the board, I wanted to get an accounting of those who love the light blue. Gonna do a little poll now, just drop your 2 cents into the jar, and we'll contribute it to the fund to pay off Bunting's expiring.

Where's the choice:
"Nothing's wrong. UNC belongs in the toilet of the ACC."

CL, I thought that was too obvious. Now, beating up grannies on d, that's a little more subtle.

Woot! My peeps! I'm a Tar Heel born and a Tar Heel bred...and when I die I'm a Tar Heel dead!

I'm actually neither Tar Heel born nor bred but I am class of '00 :D

I like Bunting for some reason. I hope they keep him. At least we're not Dook.

As a State fan, I stand wholeheartedly with you in that sentiment. I hope they keep Bunting FOREVER.

i'm not a fan, but a coach who keeps Willie Parker on the sidelines after major success in high school as a cutting running back in favor of a straight run running back has no clue what he's doing. He hasn't changed a thing and has adequately replaced Jerome Bettis on the Steelers. John Bunting was one of my faves for the Eagles when he played, but his coaching is not up to par. So that's where my vote goes.

College play is too complex for Bunting. High school play is more to his style. And his rituals with his wife before games have got to go. First of all, they aren't working.

Well, the Tar Heel dead part is the best part anyway.

Is this as kinky as it sounds?

I know she's really invoved, etc - but I hadn't heard about their "rituals", so seriously (kink aside) - what do they do?

I think they burn sage or something like that

I saw it on the news. Before every game some ritual in front of some football statue. Burning sage or peeing on it. (The second one was just a joke)

The biggest problem is that hardly anyone cares. Most Tar Heels view the Fall as a time to read up on hoops prospects.

Guess we'll find out next season if it's the coach. I'm sad that he wasn't able to turn the team around, but it probably is time for him to go.

They're still not as bad as Dook though

And the new coach is...Butch Davis!

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Former NFL coach Butch Davis will return to the sidelines as coach at North Carolina, which is 1-9 and hasn't beaten a Division I-A team this season.

Interesting. We'll see what happens.

HAhahahahaha! Put him in a Carolina Blue silk man kimono with silver paisley! If I knew where to buy said piece of clothing, I'd mail it to his fan club with some tickets.

Butch Davis should do one helluva job for that program...I say they have a winning season in LESS than 3 years. Mark it down! :)
