HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY?
You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. http://www.tridead.net/canes/images/smilies/thumb.gif
-- Alan, age 10
No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with.
-- Kristen, age 10
WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
-- Camille, age 10
HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.
-- Derrick, age 8
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Both don't want any more kids.
-- Lori, age 8
WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.
-- Lynnette, age 8
On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that Usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.
-- Martin, age 10
WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
-- Craig, age 9
WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
When they're rich.
-- Pam, age 7
The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.
- - Curt, age 7
The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do.
-- Howard, age 8
IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED?
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.
-- Anita, age 9
HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED?
There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?
-- Kelvin, age 8
And the #1 Favorite is........
HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.
-- Ricky, age 10

It's sad that children under the age of ten have a better grasp of married life than I do at age 33......considering that I've been married for almost 10 years!!!

OK. OK. I have like 55+ children, but see it's not like we PLANNED those, me and and Andrew. Stuff got WAY out of hand. :smoke: But no more. Not ever, you hear me?
Might try polygamy (for my benefit, not Andrew's LOL), because marriage has been fun, but no more kids.  LMAO!
(Ahahahaha, but seriously I agree with you ladies. Marriage, perhaps....i dunno about handling the kid thing. I'm 21 tho I got years to think about that-but I'm thinking no. *died laughing*)

Surgery is your friend if you don't want kids.;)
Ya know Amber, all those kids you have. How do you find the time? I mean, there's like, 55-60 of those things running around! With Andrew being gone all the time, who helps you? Or are you just that much of a woman that you can handle all those kids by yourself?

You know....there are actually more like 60+...and it get hard sometimes. Andrew's gone alot, he's off on road trips. I have other menfolk that come by and help me raise them, quite possibly because a small number might be theirs....like only about 5 -10. You know, the lapses of judgements when me and Mr. Peters argued.   Though I love them all, they take a lot of work, so I have some help-but mostly I'm just cool like that and handle it all myself. :smoke: I'm quite proud!
   GOD...just thinking of that, if I ever have one, I'm doing just that. Having ONE. And whoever I marry, he's gonna do all the work. JK! LOL.
Well, the "illegitimacy quotient" only 5 -10. No big deal. That's much lower than say, the French court circa 1600.

Given your daily proximity to Canada's finest superclones, you're lucky not to be dropping litters.

Litters are reserved for the Peters brothers. And now that it is "Peters Brothers", instead of just one Peters, it sounds even worse...LOL. Ok, I think that whole sentence was me sticking my foot in my mouth, there was no right way to say that LOL, but you get what I mean.
Where are your litters, Ms. RIO, I know you've been hiding them. No wait, that was Kristi.
*JUST showed my mom the kid's responses on the first page, and she nearly died laughing. She was like "Now those kids know what they're talking about!! They're wiser in their less than ten years than most of my peers in their 40's!" :D hahaha!

My uterus has informed me that no such thing will ever happen. I must obey. No litters.

You could always pull a Brangelina and go adopt some from Third World countries by the droves.
Or pull a TomKat and find one somewhere and claim it as your own. There are OPTIONS, see? :smoke:

Sounds perfect to me. I marvel at women who can have 5 or 6 children - never mind going through labor that many times, but having to care for so many, it just blows my mind.

Holy crap. I bow to their graces too, those who can handle more than two. Even three would be beyond my patience.
There's a lady who comes into my work (I swear there are so many interesting people there, I coud make chronicles a la Camille)...:D and she has 6. Her husband kinda stands around like a doofus and she watches them ALL most of the time I see them. Shes a trouper. But I just wouldn't be able to do it!

They're all right as long as ya stop at two like we did (see avatar, minus Glen Wesley :D) ... then you can still play man-to-man defense on 'em..... When you start having to play zone against 'em though, that's when they burn ya.... :D

My stepmother is one of 12 kids. The family size was totally overwhelming to me. There's no way I could handle that many children. :| I was thinking that maybe adopting a Russian child would be the way to go if I decided not to have one of my own - I mean, goodness knows there are thousands of orphaned children around the world who need parents too, and I'm trying not to let the vanity of reproducing my own genes cloud my thinking.

If we ever do decide we want them, I'm almost sure we'd adopt. I kinda have a problem with so many people adopting from other countries when there are plenty of kids right here that need parents, too, though.

Oh absolutely. I think American children should be given first shot. But I know a few couples personally who wanted to adopt in the US but weren't allowed to
( one of the women has lupus ) and the only chance they had at a child was by adopting internationally.
