What other Canes message boards do you guys frequent?

I used to be on Fanhome a bunch but over the last few months I've spent most of my time here. I also visit carolinahurricanes.com as well as thescoreboards some. I post on the other boards as JohnG.

This and the Score Boards are my main lurking grounds. I also maintain one of the blogs mentioned in MIKELIUT's link... ;)

thescoreboards.com (formerly scout/fanhome) is my main hockey board.. I stop in here second most I guess.

I really only have time for those, but I visit forumice occasionally to see the old MTL folks from fanhome, and not very often I go see what's left of the scout boards.

Never any "official boards", like ch.com or the media sites -- too much garbage.

I lurk on some of the other boards mentioned, and I visit the blogs especially those run by folks who post here. I visit the ch.com board regularly but don't post there often. I use it to cast a wider net for event tickets and such but not much more.

There are more posts on ch.com (I think), but there's much more actual information here, and the information and commentary is much smarter here IMO. Plus I very seldom find a scoop/exclusive on any of the other boards that isn't already here.

This is the one and only board I get my Canes info from (excluding other team's webboard). It's a credit to the people and ownership here.

I'm at Metroboards, the Penalty Box, and Scoreboards. All under the name RIO. :) My Canes posts are here (this is my home base) and I talk league hockey the other places (mostly Red Wings).

The N&O forums were my FIRST board, actually, way back in the day, under the same screenname. :) Stuff there got drama-filled though, and I found this board and loved the atmosphere a lot more! :D

Otherwise, I used to post at Metroboards, a TINY bit at HFboards, and about 100 posts at LetsGoWings, all under CANESFREAKinDET. This is my one and only board for Canes hockey though! :smoke:

I was a regular on the ch.com boards for a while, as that was the spot that me and my Dad could chime in on hockey together. However, ever since they went to the new style (sometime during last season), I haven't gone over there as much. It's no fun to read all the lurkers from other teams, and the moderators have a thing or two to learn about being in charge of a message board.

Oh, and just in case any of you were missing ch.com, last night some spammers got in (originally assumed to be from Buffalo, now assumed I think to be from Edmonton) and threw about 1,200 spam threads on the board.

I find the CH.com board almost impossible to read, due to everyone placing a graphic under their message. Because of that, even though I may want to visit there I don't.
