Hee hee. I'm a Carolina grad not afraid to show her face! Too bad, Coach Williams was right. They were just flying too high. Good for State--they outworked the Heels and deserved it. I was more pissed about rush to the court ruining the ice for the 'Canes.

What a weird week...when was the last time both Duke and UNC lost in the same week? For that matter, when was the last time Duke lost twice in one week? That's the great thing about the ACC--it's extremely competitive and the games are so fun to watch.

I actually had a co-worker of mine (UNC grad) proclaim today that he wasn't going to anymore Canes games because of the way they ridicule UNC on the JumboTron. He went to that College Night game a while back and he was complaining that they were "humiliating" a UNC student on the JumboTron every stoppage in play. I assume he meant in the human bowling games and with the little quizzes and stuff. WTF?!? Any of you UNC people get where that is coming from?

Yeah, they're so mistreated by the media and the world. :rolleyes: Guess thats why they had a whole rivalry created for them with Duke by ESPN. Im sure they were being bashed by the jumbotron because it happened to show a great sporting event that happened a few hours earlier in the same building.

The sense of entitlement is ridiculous. I was a Carolina fan till it came time to choose a college and visited both campuses. The people at Carolina were exactly as you describe and treated me like scum while the State visit was awesome and welcoming. Hence my choice and conversion. My time is to valuable to waste with people like that (hence my hatred of Sabres fans as well).

They make state fans sound like Buffalo fans on that board. I didnt see what the state fan said that got him banned but how interesting they didnt attempt to debate it at all. Feeling Oppressed, sheesh :hurl:I saw more questionable actions by Carolina fans on the way in than by State fans afterwards on the way out, such as two Carolina fans giving the finger to some State guys in a truck waiting to park.

Ill stop cause i know its frowned upon to reference other boards posts. Im happy with a good win, the second of the week, and how it shows that Lowe has things pointed in the right direction with good things to come.

I agree, I remember more UNC than anything else. I guess all observations are colored by the viewer.
