There was a thread here somewhere where people had pics of their stanley cup and hurricanes tattoos and Now I can't find it. Anyone know where it is? If not, can people recommend a good Tattoo parlor that can make a nice rendition of the stanley cup, or can make a nice rendition of anything short of going to Miami for Kat von D?
Someone's thinking of getting inked. Yes, its me.
Get down with your bad self, Doc!

Were you happy with the result, and does it look sharp and authentic? (I mean does it look like a stanley cup, and not like a character from "robots?")

Rio could always make one for you! She did a bang up job with Fandragon's tattoo. ;)

Not sure what "robots" is but I would imagine that you mean non-realistic? Mine is like that, but I actually wanted it to look that way....I wanted something really simple and more logo-like than authentic. I'm sure if you wanted a realistic Cup, it wouldn't be too hard to get...

If only I could get a tatoo in a spa, I'd have mine already.
I've always said if I still wanted one at 30 I'd do it. I did. I finally had a design I was ready to get but, when last year was looking so great I waited to see if I'd have a reason to get something Canes related.
I was just planning on doing the logo rather than something Cup related, though.

OMG! The glare! I had to put on sunglasses! :p
That's cool. Very nice.
My first (and only) tattoo hurt so bad I swore I'd never get another one.... but a Cup/'Canes one still tempts me, in the back of my mind.

Hyena that's quite cool. That's the type of sharp outline I was looking for and looks like a stanley cup. "Robots" is that cartoon movie with Robyn williams where they are all made of scrap parts.
And the Rio one is supercool! fandragon and captain slack, Who inked that?
you know a trip to miami wouldn't be bad...
So the bottom line question is, who is the best tattooist/tattoo parlor in the triangle? Who would you refer friends to, all of you that have had them done locally? Or are there better places in the military installations and such like fayetteville?

Byron at Warlocks on Jones Franklin Rd. He was pretty skeevy, but did a good job. :D

Hubby and I had ours done at Bill Claydon's down in Fayetteville. The artist was Joe and he did a great job. I think that they look realistic. He touched up our Canes logos at the same time. We opted for adding the Cup below the Canes logo with a small '06 next to the Cup. I really need to take a picture and post it.

Actually, I recommend Glory Days in Clayton.
Every one in my family has gotten one there and I'm pretty sure that car3hur will be getting his there too!
Seriously though, Bert designed my tattoo from a CD art design. Also, out of the 3 tattoos that I have, this one hurt the least and also bled the least.
If you'd like the number, I've got his business card, so PM me! :)
