Does anyone have a recommendation for a tailor in Raleigh or Wake Forest? The places I've been have a hard time sewing cotton straight and I don't trust them with silk.

Kim's Tailor in Wake Forest does a very good job...my brother and I needed khaki pants to be fitted and restitched for use in bowling, (I used to be a member of a youth league with a strict dress code...in other words, uniforms.) and Kim's Tailor did an awesome job.

I had my wedding dress tailored at Lee's on Six Forks at Creedmore and they did a great job, and that was on silk and having to work around beads and baubles and the other crap they throw on wedding dresses. My mom uses them all the time and they have always done a good job.

Thanks very much - I'll take one thing to each of them :spin:

Six Forks at Creedmoor? Do they intersect?

I know there is a tailor in Celebration at Six Forks (on Six Forks) - I think that's Lee's.
There's another tailor in Stonehenge Market on Creedmoor, but I don't know the name.
No problem Shell, the way roads change and/or change names, I had to really think about whether or not they did intersect at some strange point.

Fantastic :) I've been looking around for a good tailor! I have a cheongsam I need to have taken in, but I was afraid to take it to someone I just found in the yellow pages. Thanks gals. ;)
