My Other Hockey Team

Needed to post some good karma tonight after that embarrassing loss to the Leafies...my other fave hockey team won their championship--go Flyers go!

Until there is a dog or cat league, my kids will never play real hockey, but my "oldest" (cat) plays a mean soccer game--LOL

actually I have some friends in Kitchener, Ontario--one of their kids is buried in there--boy with all the curls to the right. Hopefully their daugher's games go as well--she is in the provincial championships over the next few weekends (ironically her team is the Rangers)

^^that reminds me of something. Not sure if I can write it as funny as the event actually was at the time, but worth a shot. A few years ago during one of our now rare snow\ice storms, I went out back to feed my heathen dogs in my PJs.....well I kind of lost my footing and ended up sliding sans sled on my rump for about a hundred yards (yard is on a hill). well the funny part is, all 3 of my dogs ran beside me the whole way---and I swear they were laughing at me. :laugh:

Of course, their favorite pastime during an ice event is to pull me through the yard without me being on skis.

I, too, noticed the Tim Horton's before I noticed the flag. =.) After I read puck_it's post, I thought, "There are flags on their uniforms?" and I had to take another look.
