batesb and I were chatting on MSN last week and she asked me about my username and I tried to explain to her that it's just an extension of my personality.

Examples? I once bought a case of oil, just to get the free hat. I have once paged an imaginary "10 minute 2 for 1 Chicken sale" at Wal-Mart, just to see people run and clear up some checkouts so I could get out quicker. I have more, but modesty prevents me from continuing ;).

I have gone in there a few times, but it's kind of hard to carry on a conversation with yourself.......... unless you start to argue. I do that sometimes.

Do you know how hard it is to pull yourself off of yourself when you are trying to choke the bejesus out of yourself? Not easy. Anyone confused?

I was wondering sitting here, trying to think of a way to boost the use of the "Chat" room. We have recently seen some use in it, and they have been quite enjoyable (JMHO). My thoughts were that we try and schedule something like a weekly, or monthly, whereby we can all meet there to have a town meeting and just see how things are with our friends here on lgc.com. I was thinking that if it was "scheduled" and posted on the main page that we may get more people in there and, thus, create a greater use of it all the time. Thoughts?

I vote for weekly because if you miss the monthly chat you'd have to wait another month. Plus you don't need big numbers to have a fun chat!
