View Full Version : The Mojo Worked
OK, I gonna take some credit for the demise of the Slugs. I was slightly chastised by some for taking over from Canesluver in starting the pre-game thread. More came about splitting it up into each game. But it worked, mostly; it was close to a sweep. And I didn't even wear the same underwear every game. But come to think of it, I may have worn the same pair of jeans. Gotta save them for next season.
But the Mojo bag seems empty. As much as I want the Sens to win it for Elgin, I don't know if there's any magic left. Go Sens.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I wore the same underwear throughout that series. :help:

I'd like to take a little credit as well. I've mentioned it before but because I never win ANYTHING, I had my Dad place a bet on the Slugs to win the Cup when he was in Vegas a while back. I would have won a whopping $60 if they had won. :D

lol, I forgot about that. Nicely done.
(And G105, my comment about the game thread was not really based on mojo, but rather that Canesluver has started our game threads for years and handles it or asks someone to do so. It was just a comment to point that out. I hesitated to post this because of the issue of board insiders or whatever, but it wasn't meant to imply anyone was at fault if the Sabres won/lost, just normal board operation/courtesy.)

Does this mean I've been fired? ;)
CL, you are definitely needed here. But it was sorta funny that once I began starting the threads, the Sens started to win. And it seemed that once that started, no one else would start a thread. We ALL new we were on a roll, right? But like I said, the mojo bag is empty and I'll leave it up to you, CL, to resume your good work. :)

Started to win? The Sens have won 12 of the last 15 games. Those are pretty good odds.
OK, I meant the Slugs started to lose.
