this is truely devastating news. My thoughts and prayers go out to Coach Prosser's family and friends. He really was an amazing man!!!!

RIP Coach!! We love and miss you!

Just more proof that life is unfair.

This loss hits too close for me.

Had a friend, who was a Xavier alum from many years before Skip coached there, who was dealing with some serious medical issues.

When Skip learned of the situation, he did several things for the family and more importantly kept up with my friend's situation.

Skip and my friend had never met before but had one thing in common.....Xavier University.

Knowing what constitutes the schedule of a typical college coach and seeing the amount of time Skip gave to my friend makes this loss hurt a little too much.

I'm sure there are other coaches that do similar things, but I can only relate to my own personal experiences.


Thanks Coach. You may be gone from the sidelines, but you will NEVER be forgotten.

This made me really sad. Skip was a classy guy and one of the few ACC coaches that I didn't want to strangle at some point. :) I was at Baptist Hospital with Nita the day he died and we had no idea until the next day when it was in the paper. Very sad time for all ACC basketball fans.. especially in Winston-Salem. :( :cry:
