Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste… Well actually I'm a state employee who loves the Simpsons, so you decided.

I love the Canes and pretty woman. Lately I have not been treated very nice by either. But I'm always optimistic.

Go Canes, here’s to you from section 304! Row A! All 44 games. I’m sooooo stoked for next hockey season.

That is soooo sad. You can share my box. Its the refridgerator sized one near the RBC Center. http://www.jordysworld.de/emoticons/conf43.gif I"m looking for a roommate to cost share. I got a great recipe for cracker soup.

Cool, now I don't have to sell my other kidney for dinner. I've been stealing packs of catsup from the food court, but since they started charging for water at work, I haven't been able to make soup.

Hehe, yeah how about those new prices at the cafateria at work Pat? I HATE them! Before the price increase I got the little carton thing with spaghetti and salad and a drink and it was 3.45, I went in there after the price increase and it was 5.10!! Whoohoo! I'm thinking a mass boycott/stoning is in order to knock some sense into them.

There's no shortage of pretty women here on this board so you've come to the right place for that.

Yeah, and it's not like they went up 10 or 15 cents. Man, we get no love from the legislature and now our own cafe wants us even poorer?

I'm getting back at them by taking extra napkins. Those Café Martha Stewarts do not know who they are messing with this time.

But I have my season tickets paid for and there is nothing the General Assembly can do about it now. ! Haha, Ho Haha Hee hee

Hehe, good point Shell! I'm kinda/sorta a state employee I guess... I work where Hockeypat does (Employment Security Commission, on St. Mary's St, used to Rex Hospital about 30 years ago) though I'm a very lowly intern. I would say my time is budgeted somehow like this:

82% various message board posting and talking to people about hockey
8% eating lunch and getting paid for it (is this a mistake? :spin:)
6% fielding "How old are you?" and "Oh, you're that old? What are you majoring in?" questions
3% asking my bosses if they have any work for me to do and being answered with a clever joke or quip that leaves the three of us laughing hysterically
1% actual bona-fide working my butt off-work.

I'm thinking I'm not being too useful around here though as long as I recieve pay I do not complain. :D

For me it's either feast of famine. I get projects to do and when I finish them I pray for more work. Right now I have a major project pending and I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation. I can disappear for days, then have nothing but time on my hand for a too long a time. And there is always that we needed this yesterday request that keeps me on my toes.

Be careful what you ask for Aaron. They could have you cleaning the bathrooms now that the prisoners are gone.

LOL, don't worry, I'm perfectly fine with my current position. No complaining is being done. :D If I complain I might as you said end up cleaning the bathroom in a suit and tie or be used as a footrest for the chairman.
