When I set out to join this group, and was filling out the form, I tried to use the name "Whaler" as my user ID.
However, my browser's autofill thought I was trying to type my e-mail address, and filled in the rest without my noticing it.
After I realized that I was now a member, but not with the name I wished, I sent e-mail to support to explain my problem and ask for instructions in changing my user ID. I never heard back, so thought I'd appeal directly to the posters to see if anyone would be willing to offer suggestions.
I looked for ways to cancel my membership so that I could start over, but couldn't find that, either.
I would appreciate any hints, tips, or suggestions.
