I've been watching the ESPYs while getting some work done around the house and 2 stories have really caught my attention. First, a (special needs - I believe) high school football player receiving a special award. Although he practiced every day he had never played in a game. They showed the footage of his final game when he not only played, but scored a touchdown thanks to the compassion of both coaches and teams. Second, the Arthur Ashe Award which was given to the Tillman brothers who had given up professional athletic careers (NFL & MLB) to enlist in the Army after September 11th. Both stories were very moving.
Still waiting for some more to be shown about hockey. I think I'll be waiting a longggggg time.
