Didn't have to do this last year with the 24-game tickets..

The Red Pack has Toronto, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Phoenix, NY Isles, Washington, Boston, Atlanta, and Florida. (3 Sun, 2 Sat, 2 Fri, 3 Weekday)

The Black Pack has LA, Washington, Pittsburgh, Montreal, NY Rangers, Atlanta, Buffalo, Toronto, Philadelphia, and Boston. (2 Sun, 3 Sat, 5 Weekday)

The White Pack has Florida, NY Rangers, Philadelphia, Tampa, Montreal, Anaheim, Ottawa, Washington, New Jersey, NY Isles. (2 Sun, 1 Sat, 2 Fri, 5 Weekday)

Although I like the White Pack matchups better, I think I'll have to choose the Red Pack due to 7 games being played at kid-friendly times.

I should also mention that the White Pack has the New Year's Eve game.. that was surprising to me.

I wouldn't let the New Year's game sway you.. lots of tickets for sale cheap for that night since so many people have plans. I gave mine away for free on this board last year.

looks to me like red is the way to go if kids are involved...

though I think the white pack is the best. no surprise really... most weeknights... which is when they're in most need of getting butts in seats.

Interesting. It seems like they've put more weekdays in all the packs. It seemed to me that there was only one pack that had numerous weekday games. I think ours had 2? Although I could be misremembering - us windbags have that happen now and again. ;)

But if they are increasing the number of weekdays in the minis, I think it's a good idea. The Fri/Sat games sell pretty well on their own.

NYE was part of one of the minis last year, it was in our plan.

Anyway, now I just need my foursome of STH to divy up the games so I can purchase my "must sees" for Oct/Nov before the masses.

I can't believe it, but two people in our family will be at a Soccer tournament in VA Beach for the Home Opener. Obviously we know which kid will be out of town, but we'll be deciding who escorts him between now and 10/11. :eek2:
