Hanlon Fired

Coach Glen Hanlon was fired this morning after the Caps got off to the franchise's worst start in 26 years. The final straw, it seems was last night's 5-1 loss to Atlanta at home. The defeat was the Caps' fifth straight and ninth in 10 games.

Hanlon leaves with a record of 78-123-9-29.

Hershey Coach Bruce Boudreau will replace Hanlon on an interim basis. Details to Follow.

Here's to hoping the new coach doesn't do any better!

The last thing we need is another team that rebounds like ATL did. But I'm sure it'll happen. I'm sure making some semblance of a team that Ovechkin would want to play on is a big concern.
