What regular season home game are you anticipating the most?

So....now that the schedule is out and the mad scramble for loose change to secure tickets to these games is on, which home game are you anticipating the most? I guess the question is also meant to ask which game do you think the crowd will be the most rowdy at and will be the most fun.

I'm looking forward to all of these games and though the opening home game against New Jersey comes in at a close second I'm going to have to go with the January 2nd Detroit game. The intensity of last year's regular season game was incredible.

I voted for the home opener against the Devils....I can't wait to kick some Wings' ass in January, but a home opener after NO Canes Hockey since April...and we are playing the Stanley Cup Champs...well IMHO, it don't get much better than that!! I look for total chaos in the arena that night!! :spin:

on the 11th, i fully expect to:

get there obscenely early
take a hundred photos
lose half my voice screaming for the Canes
lose the other half screaming for scott stevens' head
celebrate a Canes victory!

I have to admit that it was honestly hard to choose between the home opener and Detroit...but as sweet as it'll be to oust the Stanley Cup champs in one of (hopefully) numerous times this upcoming season, you just can't beat giving it to Detroit TWICE in a row at home, especially as close as we came to that Cup. I laughed, cheered and cried a lot.. :cry: and after watching Weeksey repeatedly deny Madden in that game, I am so ready for the season.....even preseason....I can't wait til September 25th!! Opening night at home is always big, but to be on a Saturday AND against the defending champs....now, that is big. It sure would be awesome to be 2-0 after that night. Only 26 more days.
