So, the Division I-AA, or FCS, Championship Game is my Delaware Blue Hens against Appalachian State. I have no idea how we're going to stop Armanti Edwards, but I also have no idea based upon previous games, how App State can stop our offense.

I have a feeling this one might end up 63-56 or something like that.

I'm rooting for App for two reasons:

1. Delaware copied Meeeechigan's helmets.
2. Delaware has never scheduled a football game against Delaware St.

Delaware did finally play against Delaware St in this year's playoffs.

And Michigan copied Princeton's.

As a Delaware alum, I am so sick of the "Delaware never scheduled Del State" nonsense. The truth is, there was no room on the schedule for a beatdown of epic proportions every year. It's only been recently that Del State has been competitive. This year was Del State's best team ever, and Delaware, while we have gotten to the Championship Game, is FAR, FAR from one of our best teams, and the result was 44-7, in a game that wasn't even that close. We could have hung 100 on them if we kept our starters in beyond the first drive of the third quarter. In some ways, that probably would have been the best thing that could have happened.

OK, 42-14 w/ less than 4 minutes to go....the end of the game antics here are getting hilarious. :laugh:

Heading into what certainly looks like 3 in a row. I shoulda kept a list of everyone dissing App at the beginning of this season. :D
