I find I sleep better after a nightly herpes reminder, don't you?
And... don't you wonder if those people REALLY have herpes..... 'cause if you DID have herpes, why in the world would you broadcast that to the whole world? .... but... then I get to thinking..... if they're ACTORS.... why in the world would you take that job? You'd have old girlfriends calling you, screaming--- "YOU MOTHERFUC*ER!!!! Why in the hell didn't you tell me you had herpes!!! You sonofa*****!!!"

O.K..... and for the record..... that's the 1st double-dog-dare I've ever had to face from CHC. Where's NCC? She's usually the one to dare me into doing something!!!
O.k.... back when I was in college in Western Kansas, my school was midway between Denver and Kansas City off the major East-West highway. So, our school did really well getting major bands to play there in our big arena, on their way to Denver or Kansas City. And... when they'd arrive, they'd hire students to help the roadies with set-up and tear-down, and then we'd get backstage passes during the show, and some of us would help with follow-spots, too.
Anyway, once I had a one-night-stand with the Stage Manager for the Little River Band... and I didn't even know his name! Woooooo!
And THAT, my friends... is why I'm suprised I don't have herpes!!!
Kids!! Are you listening?! There's something to be learned from this!!

Uh, no, Penns.... then I'd be SURE to contract something!!!
But... I do have another true story:
You young'uns know who Steve Walsh is? He used to sing in the band, Kansas. After they broke up, in the mid-'80's Steve Walsh had his own band for a brief period of time, called Streets. They came to town..... but I'm a good girl, now, 'cause I'm married by this point...... Steve Walsh walked in the Costume Shop in our theatre dept., handed me a pair of pants with a rip in the seam, and asked me if I could fix it for him.
I said.... and I'm not making this up...... "Oh sure!! Then I can tell all my friends I've been in Steve Walsh's pants!!"
 I'm such a dumbass!!!

This thread is really turning into some psychedelic acid trip. Everyone asks for drugs and then steve walsh's pants are off. But then the stage manager is getting some, not Walsh. And in the end no one has herpes. It's so... tranquil.

Did anyone else see this story? Normally I wouldn't care about a drug, but since I've watched more Vytorin commercials on FSN than I care to count it caught my interest:

I can still get a chuckle out of thinking about the N/O reporter's face when she was talking to Kat and Mr Kat about superstitions. They'd already given her a lot of fodder, but when we said something about our friend with lucky underwear she was like "WTF?" and then I just reached in my pocket and pulled out my swatch. I know she thought we were insane!

I'm working on a "lucky bra" right now. Seriously-- it's win record is very good. And... you heard it here first---- if we should actually make the plxy-xffs, you all will be getting a piece of it!!!!

If the lucky bra holds, as it were, then perhaps we could come up with some kind of new tradition in Raleigh for hat tricks. Hey, it's a lot cooler than octopi! :D And I'm pretty sure ticket sales would go through the roof ...

I once mentioned to someone about how one thing I want to do in life is dance on a bar (saw "Coyote Ugly" one too many times maybe, I dunno) and he asked if I planned to pitch the bra, too, and then I spent about 5-10 minutes explaining the problem with that. First, in theory, the dancing on the bar should be spontaneous. If it's planned, then it seems some of the fun would be missed. BUT there's a lot of thought that needs to go into the bra part of the evening. It should be a pretty bra (because everyone's going to see what one you took off and you don't want it to be some matronly thing), but not an expensive bra, so you don't mind parting with it for good. He just shook his head. LOL.

Very similar to the hat-trick. You don't want to plan for it but, you don't want to have a hat that you aren't willing to part with, either.....like we did last night.

(I rarely wear a hat I'd consider throwing. I have tons of hats, but only a few that fit perfectly, so those are the ones I wear. Why wear an uncomfortable one? And at $20 a hat, which is the going rate these days... meh, I just watch other people throw theirs. lol)
