we've been grandfathered into the ability to get season tickets in the $12 seats. until we find a reason to spend 3x the amount of money, we'll be in 314. ;)

We're doing something a little different this year. Last two seasons we were mini-planners in the lower level and then added games where the seat locations varied depending on how we acquired them or how much we wanted to spend on a given game.

This season we are splitting 4 seats in 3XX with 3 other families (~10 games per family). We'll use our STH discount to buy additional seats and I suspect most of those will be lower level (finances permitting).

I'm hoping to get to around 20-25 games (again). :D

I improved my view a bit this year, I went from 325 row e 5 and 6 to 324 row d seats 2 and 3 . Would have taken seats 1 and 2 but seat one had some handrail and glass issues that I was not too fond of!!!

the first season I bought tickets I sat in 109, then 2 years ago I was in 108 2nd row on the aisle and then they put up those nets and the edge was in my line of sight  so, I moved to 111 which I like a lot, but I loved 108. guess we are moving in the opposite directions! I was hoping to move to 107 when they put the nets up, but that section got REALLY expensive so I went the other way :)

We're in Sec. 130, smack dab in the middle of the row, which we love because nobody ever crawls across us for their 30th pee break in the middle of the period!

Great view of the South goal and because we're right at the point where the section's starting to curve, we kind of sit diagonally to the ice, so the view is great of the whole ice. Only looking thru about 1/4 of the netting-- and didn't even notice it at all after the first few games.

I've been upgraded to seat 11. Section 304A! I plan on being there every game! I’ll be the big ole four-eyed dufus in a red Canes sweater. I’ve bought all new Caneswear this year because I can’t risk bringing in any of last year’s bad luck. I’m looking forward to meeting everybody. I've even decided to miss my beloved ECU Pirate’s game against UNC for the pre-game festivities.

No, it's not because I'm down on my college football team, it's because it's a 3:30 start and I love the Hurricanes and would never dream of missing a single minute of this year’s action!

Back in 121 E 1-2 this year, where we've had seats since 00-01. Wouldn't sit anywhere else (OK, I'd sit on ice if I had the money).

We were in 129 the first year of the ESA. Good folks over there, but upgraded when they dropped the price in 121.

Our season seats were in 105 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Ah, the good ol' days. Sometime I sit there during Generals games and try to remember what it was like when we had NHL hockey

224 home games in a row and counting. Looking forward to another fun year.

Section 109, Row L. The girls will get to go to the glass during warmups and the idiot usher won't be able to glare at us.. cause we have seats!

Opening Night, we'll be in Section 106 Row B, and have the same seats for the free game on 10/13 against the Panthers.

107 is pretty desolate

we wanted to get down there, but then remembered it was a section included in the "center entrance"... which always seems to be guarded. couple of years ago it wasn't... we always moved down to center ice... but that hasn't been the case lately, unless you get lucky and catch a change.

nccanes
11-18-2003, 09:06 AM
I think 107's "deal" is that the gate price is the same as those center premium sections, so why would a walkup chose that section over center ice or the end where the Canes shoot twice? Those end sections are discounted when you're buying a ticket plan, but not for gate.
