Thanks for the link Caniac. I downloaded it and tried to play it with both Real Player and Windows Media Player and I got sound but no visuals. :sad: Anybody have better luck?

You might need a different codec for it.

It works fine for me in Windows Media Player

I found the trailer online at theonering.net yesterday and was about to post a link. But when I went there today they have a note that NewLine has asked them to remove the link....so no trailer. Sorry guys. :sad:

I thought I had all of my codecs up to date, and the most recent WMP. I too, got no video, just sound. hmmm.

it does appear that the trailer was yanked from Every site too.

I use www.movie-trailers.com most times... it's not there either.

Try running it in a DIVX player. It just came to me it's probably a DIVX file.

I have one and the codec goes over to WMP...

hmm... there's something weird with this file for some reason, and I can't figure out what.

My DIVX Pro 2.1 won't play it, I get a FOURCC codec msg. WMP 9 with basic (newest) codecs only plays aud.
I'll see if I can get DIVX fixed.. not sure what's up with that.

Got it. It was encoded with XVID.

install this codec: http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/ (you'll have to dig around more if you have a mac, sorry)

this isn't a standard packaged codec, so it needs to be installed separately. very quick and easy though.
